New course: teach Claude a job by showing it once

Every events team has a few jobs that live in one person's head. The supplier quote that goes into the costing sheet a particular way. The rooming list that gets tidied before it goes to the hotel. The Friday client update only one person knows how to build.

Claude now has a feature called Record a skill, and it's made for exactly those jobs. You record your screen while you do the task, talk through what you're doing and why, and Claude turns it into a skill it can run again whenever you ask. No prompt writing, no code. If you can do the job, you can teach it.

So I've built a course on it.

Record a Skill: Show Claude the Job Once is a beginner course, about an hour and a half, written for events people rather than techies. It covers:

The honest bit: it's on Claude's paid plans, in the desktop app, and the menus move around a lot. The course tells you what to check rather than pretending it'll look the same forever.

If you've done the Claude Cowork course, this is the natural next step. If you haven't, it works on its own too.

As always, if you record something good, I'd love to hear what it was.
